Iranian President Ebrahim Raissi said that the presence of US occupation forces in Syrian and Iraqi territories hinders democracy and the will of the people to advance in the region.
In a speech delivered via videoconference to the 76th Annual Session of the UN General Assembly, Raissi said that the US presence is the greatest obstacle to the realization of democracy and the realization of the will of the peoples, explaining that the peoples of Palestine, Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan are paying the price for the recklessness of American officials and their leaders.
