The coach, Kais Yaâkoubi said during an intervention on Mosaïque FM (Tunisian Radio) in Récap Sport this Saturday, October 5, 2019 that contrary to what some people think, today's Syria is a country overall calm and safe.

Kais Yaâkoubi stressed that he thought that Syria was an immense battlefield but when he went to Aleppo, he realized that the country was stabilizing and that life was returning to normal. He stated that he chose to join Al Ittihad Aleppo because he appreciated the project of the club, which has been going through an empty passage for several years and wants to regain its glory.
