NATO behind the Turkish invasion in Syria

Several NATO members mourn all the tears of their bodies over the fate of the Kurds masking the fact that they have validated in advance the operation " Source of peace ".

To remove the doubts, the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, came in person to Ankara, three days after the start of the fighting, to bring NATO support to Turkey.

Germany, France, Italy and other countries, which as members of the EU condemn Turkey for its attack in Syria, are with Turkey members of Nato, which, while the attack was already underway, renewed its support to Ankara. It was the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, who officially did so during a meeting in Turkey on 11 October with President Erdoğan and Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu .

NATO has increased its air and naval presence in Turkey and has invested more than $ 5 billion in military bases and infrastructure. In addition to these, it has deployed an important command (not recalled by Stoltenberg) : LandCom, which is responsible for coordinating all the ground forces of the Alliance. Stoltenberg highlighted the importance of NATO's "missile defence systems" to "protect Turkey's southern border", which are rotated by the Allies. Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu thanked Italy in particular.

Since 2016 in fact Italy has deployed in the south-eastern Turkish province of Kahramanmaras the "air defense system" Samp-T, co-produced with France. A Samp-T unit consists of one command and control vehicle and six launch vehicles each armed with eight missiles. Located on the edge of Syria, they can shoot down any aircraft inside Syrian airspace. Their function, therefore, is anything but defensive.

Last July the (Italian) Chamber and Senate, on the basis of decisions taken by the Joint Foreign Affairs committees, deliberated to extend until December 31 the presence of Italian missile units in Turkey. Stoltenberg also informed that talks are underway between Italy and France, co-producers of the Samp-T missile system, and Turkey who wants to buy it. Therefore, on the basis of the decree announced by Foreign Minister Di Maio to block the export of armaments to Turkey, Italy should immediately withdraw the Samp-T missile system from Turkish territory and undertake not to sell it to Turkey.

Thus continues the tragic Little Theatre of politics, while in Syria blood continues to flow. Those who today are horrified at the new massacres and ask to block the export of weapons to Turkey are the same people who were watching elsewhere when the New York Times itself published a detailed investigation into the CIA network through which rivers of weapons for the secret war in Syria arrived in Turkey, including Croatia .

After demolishing the Yugoslav federation and Libya, NATO attempted the same operation in Syria. The shock force consisted of an armed group of Islamist groups (until recently defined by Washington as terrorists) from Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, Libya, and other countries. They flowed into the Turkish provinces of Adana and Hatay, bordering Syria, where the CIA had opened military training centers.

The Operations Command was on board NATO ships in the port of Iskenderun (Alexandrette). All this has been erased and Turkey is presented by the NATO secretary-general as the Ally " most exposed to violence and turbulence from the Middle East ".
