The Iranian President denounces the accusations of France, Germany and the United Kingdom
Iranian President Hassan Rohani has criticized France, Germany and the UK for accusing Iran of being responsible for the recent attacks on the Saudi company Aramco's facilities.
The leaders of the three major European countries announced on Tuesday : "it is clear to us that Iran is responsible for the attack (of 14 September). There is no other possible explanation". The statement by France, Germany and the United Kingdom concerning the attacks on Aramco is "groundless", said Mr Rohani during a meeting with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron in New York. Iran has rejected these accusations, which have already been made by US and Saudi officials. The houthis rebels in Yemen also claimed responsibility for the attack.
