A new report from Latakia reports the participation of the Russian air force in the ongoing operation in Latakia Governorate this week. According to this information, the Russian Air Force attack helicopters attacked the positions of the terrorists inside the town of Kabani, located in the countryside north-east of Latakia.

At the same time, the Syrian air Force conducted strikes against Kabani and the surrounding hills under the control of Hayat Tahrir Al-Cham and the Turkestan party. This region in the north-east of Latakia should be the site of the next major operation of the Syrian army in the north-west of Syria.
