Iraq : 30 trucks belonging to US forces arrive in northern Syria
Local sources in the Al-Hasakah countryside of northeastern Syria reported that US forces entered 30 trucks loaded with military equipment and huge cement walls at their Al-Shaddadi bases in the Hasaka countryside.
The sources said that 30 trucks belonging to the US forces carrying military equipment and huge cement walls arrived at the military base in the Al-Shaddadi area, south of Al-Hasakah, from the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
Most of the land in the energy-rich Hasaka, Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa governorates in northern and northeastern Syria is under the control of the US-backed "Syrian Democratic Forces" (SDF).
The Syrian authorities accuse the United States of working to "smuggle Syrian oil and sell it abroad to deprive Syrians of it in flagrant violation of international law ".
