Yemen tragedy in figures


The war in Yemen is the forgotten conflict. The humanitarian nightmare. The millions of people left to starvation, cholera and even leprosy.

5 million's children in Yemen do not attend school, out of a total of 7 million's

1.2 million people with cholera since 2017. At least 2500 would have died.

18 million's people who depend entirely on humanitarian aid (out of a population of 28 million's).

$ 67.6 billion's : Saudi Arabia's military spending in 2018. It is the country that spends the most on its army, compared to its gross domestic product (8.8%).

400 new cases of leprosy registered in Yemen each year.

19,278 bombings recorded in the territory of Yemen between March 26, 2015 (beginning of the Saudi intervention) and February 28, 2019.

3.3 million's internally displaced persons.
