S. Nasrallah: the first Iranian fuel oil ship has arrived It will be distributed free of charge

Lebanon

Hezbollah number one sayed Hassan Nasrallah announced that the first hydrocarbon ship from Iran has already arrived in the Syrian port of Banias, while the second and third are expected to arrive in the coming days and the fourth around November, with the advent of winter cold.

He explained that the choice ultimately fell on the mooring of the tankers in the Syrian port because of the embarrassment that this could cause the Lebanese authorities, due to the fears of US sanctions, if the ships come to dock in Lebanese ports.

Specifying that the tank trucks that should carry the fuel will begin to arrive in Lebanon from next Thursday, he outlined in detail the mechanisms of their distribution, their priority recipients, whose lists have been drawn up by Hezbollah.

Regarding the first shipment formed exclusively of Mazout, sayed Nasrallah indicated that it will be distributed free of charge. While for other vessels, fuel oil will be sold at deca prices of the cost price.

It is a gift from Iran and Hezbollah, he stressed because our ultimate goal is to serve the people and alleviate the difficulties they face due to the shortages that Lebanon is experiencing amid an unprecedented economic and financial crisis.
